What about the sun? You can get sunburned in Tenerife even on a cloudy day. Always wear sunscreen (SPF) if you plan to be outdoors, especially when hiking in the mountains or visiting Mount Teide.
When can I swim? In the south, you can swim in the ocean year-round, and the water is usually calm thanks to breakwaters. In the north, there are stronger currents and waves, especially on secluded beaches, so always check the safety flags before getting in.
What's the parking situation? In most areas, you’ll find free or paid parking without much hassle. However, you might have to park a bit further away from your destination during peak tourist seasons.
